thanks.
I'm not a "professional" artist so I really just draw for "fun", so there's NO way I'm gonna be paying for models (LOL) so the next best thing is the net. But like it or not you have to go through a lot of stuff that there's NO WAY can be used for referance (unless that's what you want to draw)
anyway, thanks again :)

Me too. I can't afford professionell models. Last year a good friend of mine posed for me, but thats an exception, so there's just the net. I try more and more to combine my referances to get a very unique result. so nobody can say: "look, this picture was his referance" - I think, by this way I get drawings which are really independent works. But I think, the main thing is to put something of your own "handwriting"/style in your work, even if you use just one reference.
And you did that definitely.

Thank you. Your stuff is amazing too. Your pinups are very beautiful (and damn sexy of course)!!

I can't even afford amature models LOL... at my age most women that would be suitable "models" would probably call the police if I approached them about posing :) Oh well, at least I've got the internet LOL

Lol
You've got to aggrandize yourself, saying "I'm an artist, a talented but missunderstood avant-gardist, do you like to pose for me?" :D
Sometimes it works, you just have to appear respectable... or you have to be Leonardo DeCaprio in Titanic...

I used a photo, If you don't mind putting up with alot of stupid, over the top porn, you can actually find some amazing references on line. Which is good for me as I can't afford to pay a model LOL

why you say that ? :
"If you don't mind putting up with alot of stupid"

I mean : "done with model ? ( photo or real person ) ? )
because I know some artists who draw without a model

ok sorry for my question

Hi, I can see this turning into a "three's company" misunderstanding moment, so I'll try to clarify.

1. the "putting up with stupid" and the "over the top porn" statments are one statment... I can't afford to pay models to pose for me as I'm just an amature artist who mainly draws for himself, so I have to surf the net looking for the types of photo's I wanna draw from, this means I end up going through "a lot" of porn photos before I find something that is appropriate for me to draw :) and for anyone reading this, NO I don't have a problem with people who like porn, I'm just not interested in drawing it.

2. All my work is done using photo referances. I WISH I was good enough to do detailed work without a photo, that would be awesome.

3. no need to be "sorry for your question" I appreciate the opporatunity to clarify.

Lovely perspective. I wish I had half the skills you do.
Not an easy angle to draw for the face either.
Shading work is great, especially on the ..uh... focal point(s?)
:)

yeah, it's a really cool angle to draw from and a little tough to not over shadow the face, and without the ..uh... focal point(s), there's really no reason to draw it anyway :)
Anyway glad you liked it, thanks.
